Oh I love Farmer Duck or maybe Pumpkin Soup. Or maybe the Tim Burton book of poetry The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy when your child is somewhat older. My daughter loved this and it’s slightly macabre twists xx

Do we have to pick just one? Bear Snores On for the little ones. For older: Charlotte’s Web, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Where the Red Fern Grows

  3. I always loved reading I Love You, Stinky Face to my daughter when she was little. Now that I have a little boy, I’ll have to find a new one.

My favorite book growing up was called SodaPop! After searching for quite some time, I recently found a copy at a used bookstore to share with my son. 🙂

  5. Never Tease a Weasel. “Weasels will not like it and teasing isn’t nice.”

  6. So hard to choose, but if I were on a desert island with but one book for me and the boyos (ages 8 and 6) it would have to be Dear Mrs LaRue, written and illustrated by Mark Teague. Narrated by Ike, an eloquent, if melodramatic canine, the story shows Ike’s perspective side by side with What Really Happened. The artwork is joyful and I find something new every time.

I love Good Morning, Good Night! Have been trying to find a copy for my son. Also love Noisy Nora.
